Our Story

Our Story

Founded by a Swindon-born performer Bethany Cooper whose love for dance started the moment she could walk, Hype Nation Arts is built on lived experience and lifelong passion. From living room shows to advanced training at Wilkes Academy, to performing on some of the UK’s biggest stages — including Soccer Aid in front of 60,000 people at age 13 — the journey has been fuelled by hard work, determination, and love for performing.
Alongside professional work, teaching became another passion. Watching students grow in skill and confidence, finding their voice, and stepping into their spotlight has been the most rewarding experience of all.
That’s why Hype Nation Arts exists — to inspire, encourage, and shape the next generation of all-round performers. Also to empower adults to let their hair down and do something for themselves.

Our Vision

At Hype Nation Academy, we believe in creating not just performers, but confident, passionate, and resilient individuals who carry the joy of performing into every area of their lives. Our mission is to deliver pre-professional training in dance, acting, and singing while building a community that feels like home.

We are dedicated to nurturing talent, inspiring creativity, and developing the next generation of performers who are ready to take on the professional industry — all while keeping heart, community, and passion at the centre of everything we do.
