Meet Harry

At 18 years old, Harry Apps was cast as the leading role of Marius in the UK & Ireland Tour of Les Misérables. After a year of touring, he was then asked by Cameron Mackintosh to perform the role in London’s West End, opening the new production of Les Misérables at the Sondheim Theatre. Harry then performed the role for three years in the West End, throughout various Covid-19-related closures and reopenings.

Cameron Mackintosh, Julia McKenzie, Stephen Mear, and Matthew Bourne cast Harry in Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends at the Gielgud Theatre. In this show, he performed Sondheim’s most popular repertoire, alongside Musical Theatre legends such as Bernadette Peters, Lea Salonga, Janie De,e and Bonnie Langford.

More recently, Harry has recorded an album of Shakespeare set to music written by David Cullen, the keyboard player, composer, record producer and arranger, best known as the orchestrator of multiple award-winning musicals such as Sunset Boulevard, Evita and The Phantom of the Opera.
